Funeral Support Program

ICNA Relief Canada has established a one-time Funeral (Janaza) Support Fund to provide financial help to needy families in an already painful situation. Funeral services can be costly and not all families are able to manage the necessary expenses when a loved one dies. ICNA Relief is currently compiling resources to help guide Muslim families to appropriate Islamic Funeral Services, in addition to helping alleviate the financial burden incurred.

About Funeral Program

ICNA Relief Canada’s Funeral Support Program provides compassionate, one-time financial assistance to families facing the difficult loss of a loved one. Funeral services can place a heavy financial burden on families during an already painful time, and this program aims to ease that hardship by helping cover essential expenses and guiding families toward appropriate Islamic funeral services.

Through the support of our community, we strive to preserve the dignity and respect every individual deserves in their final journey. This service is currently available in the Greater Toronto Area, with hopes to expand to more cities in the future.
